One of the most popular road race courses in Western
Canada in back! The rolling hills of Sooke – and the
steep climb returning from Port Renfrew – make up the
140km Sooke Classic Road Race. Following the
historical Gary Lund route, this mass-start race has
been a launchpad for Canada's best riders, including
Roland Green, Alison Sydor, Brian Walton, Alex
Steida, Sandy Espeseth, Luca Segato, Andrew Pinfold,
Sara Neil and others. Endurance, Stamina, and
Strategy will all come into play for those with aspirations
to reach the podium.
