Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2010
Robert W Cameron Law Cycling Series. It is greatly
appreciated. Without the help of volunteers, our event
would not exist.
Join a dynamic and energetic team as we work together to
bring to Victoria an event that will bring joy and excitement
as well as inspire the new olympians of tomorrow
Available Positions:
Course Marshals - You are assigned a designated area
along the race course to assist with the coordination and
safety of the field of play for all race venues; keep the
course clear of pedestrians; spectators, cars, etc.
Marshals are required for the Bastion Square Grand Prix
and the Sooke Classic Road Race.
Equipment Setup/Tear Down - You are part of a large team
that is responsible for the setup of barricades, fencing,
crash padding, signage, tents, and start/finish gantry. Strong
arms, strong back is required.
Road Race Caravan Support - You are part of the vehicle
support caravan that follows the Sooke Road Race on May
29. Positions required include drivers and mechanical
support to help rider's with wheel changes during a flat.
Prizes/Primes - You are helping in collecting prizes from
local vendors and organizing them so that they are tagged
and labelled to give to the winners on race day. You are
also helping in collecting "Crowd Primes".
